It was a stunning win for Ernie Els at the American Family Insurance Championship. Els beat out host, Steve Stricker, in a playoff hole to earn his second straight PGA Champions Tour title in two weeks and took home the sleek American Family Insurance Championship Trophy handcrafted by Malcolm DeMille.
The American Family Insurance Championship perpetual and Champion’s trophy focuses around two vertical crystal blocks etched with the phrase “Dream Achieved” floating among clouds. The Dream Achieved focal point emphasizes the American Family Insurance belief in the power of dreams and the achievement of a dream through hard work and perseverance. Malcolm DeMille is honored to join in the celebration of another great championship.
