Mizuho Americas Open

May 19, 2024

At LPGA Mizuho Americas Open the audience was kept on their toes watching a thrilling head-to-head between Hannah Green and Nelly Korda. On the 18th hole, Nelly Korda shot par to seal the win and take home the captivating Mizuho Americas Open trophy—a 13.5” tall cup paired with a crystal studded golf ball made by Malcolm DeMille.

The black rhodium plated Mizuho Americas Open cup is detailed with a rhodium plated New York City artistically designed skyline that wraps around the base of the bowl and gold-plated handles that reflect the cables on the Brooklyn bridges. The tournament name is also prominently placed on the top center of the cup, plated in both silver and black rhodium to ensure the tournament name showed brightly. A band of crystals bring a touch of sparkle to the collar unifying the cup’s bowl and foot, along with the 3” black rhodium plated, crystal paved, golf ball which sits next to the cup on a black acrylic base. At the winner’s presentation, trophy cup was removed from the base and given to this year’s Mizuho Americas Open Champion Nelly Korda.

The Malcolm DeMille team is grateful to Mizuho Americas Open for believing in us to take the concept of a classic trophy and elevating it to one that is truly one of a kind. The trophy is a perfect pairing to a memorable event that captivated the Golf World with history making moments. We offer our deepest Congratulations to both Mizuho Americas Open and Nelly Korda for an unforgettable tournament!
