Mizuho Americas Open

When Mizuho Americas Open contacted Malcolm DeMille they were looking for a trophy that reflected not only the special event, but the scenery that surrounded Liberty National. The team at Mizuho Americas Open decided upon a sleek, 13.5” tall, trophy cup paired with a crystal studded golf ball for the event’s trophy. The Black Rhodium Plated trophy cup is detailed with a Rhodium Plated New York City artistically designed skyline that wraps around the base of the bowl and gold-plated handles that reflect the cables on the Brooklyn bridges. The tournament name is also prominently placed on the top center of the cup, plated in both silver and black rhodium to ensure the tournament name showed brightly even in the dim twilight setting. A band of crystals bring a touch of sparkle to the collar unifying the bowl to the foot of the trophy. The trophy cup sits on a black acrylic base, which also houses the 3” crystal paved golf ball and was removable for the Champions presentation.
